FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The Fort Wayne Gang and Violent Crimes Unit arrested a man early Saturday morning at a Fort Wayne bar after he apparently pulled out a gun and shot at another person.

Police said 24-year-old Dujuane Woods was arrested at Legends Bar shortly before 2:30 a.m. Saturday. The bar is located on 4104 North Clinton Street.

According to police, the gang unit was conducting surveillance at Legends Bar late Friday night after receiving information there would be several known and confirmed gang members attending a party at the bar.

Detectives witnessed a fight start between Woods and another person in the front of the bar. Police said they saw them pull out handguns and shoot at each other.

Police arrested Woods at the scene. He faces a criminal recklessness charge, which is a class C felony.

Police were not able to find the second suspect.
