Stabbing at fast-food restaurant seriously injures man

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A man was seriously wounded Thursday night after he was stabbed at a fast-food restaurant, according to the Fort Wayne Police Department.

City police spokesperson Officer Chris Felton said officers were called to McDonalds, 3202 Saint Joe Center Road, around 9:15 p.m. after a fight between three people.

Felton said two men and a woman were involved in some type of altercation at the restaurant. At some point, a man was stabbed and later taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Police have not said if the stabbing took place inside the McDonalds or in a nearby parking lot. Police cars were parked in the Marketplace of Canterbury and at a nearby Subway.

Felton said two people were in police custody but he did not have information on their involvement in the fight or stabbing.
