FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Police say a man with a Duck Dynasty headband and fake beard robbed the Subway on E. Coliseum Boulevard at gunpoint on Thursday night.

According to the Fort Wayne Police Department,  the suspect walked into the restaurant shortly after 8:30 p.m. with his head down. An employee said he asked the suspect if he could help him, but the suspect didn’t answer. The suspect then demanded money.

The employee saw the suspect had a semi-automatic pistol and gave him an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect then left through the front door and ran towards the back of the restaurant.

Police said there were fresh tire tracks behind the Subway that were most likely from a truck. A K9 attempted to track the suspect but was unsuccessful.

The employee described the suspect as around 6 feet tall with a blonde buzz cut. He was wearing dark-colored sweatpants with a red stripe down each leg and gloves. The employee said he appeared to be in his mid-20’s.

Police said they are reviewing Subway’s surveillance video. The incident remains under investigation.
