INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indiana State Department of Health investigators are reviewing two cases where people infected with HIV tried to give plasma.

According to police reports, the suspects who are still under investigation, went to the Plasma Care Center on the 500 block of North Capitol. Once there the man and woman both gave donations, but they did not inform the staff about their HIV status.

Investigators say doctors informed the woman of her status in 2006, and the man was notified back in 2007. It’s unclear if the two were working together.

WANE’s sister station WISH, called the Plasma Care Center on Tuesday morning. A woman answered the phone and declined to comment on the investigation.
