Fleming Returns To Komets, Dale To IR

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Forward Scott Fleming has returned to Fort Wayne after a brief call-up to Worcester of the American Hockey League.  Fleming, appearing in his rookie season, skated four games with the Sharks registering two assists  and +1.  Fleming scored  11 goals and 23 assists in 39 games with the Komets before his call-up to Worcester Jan. 28.  The Plainfield, Ontario native currently ranks second among ECHL rookies with 34 points.

Center Jason Dale has been placed on 21-day injured reserve.  Dale, a fifth-year pro, was acquired by the Komets Jan. 29 from the Ontario Reign and has one goal and an assist in two games with Fort Wayne.

The Komets will travel to Cincinnati tomorrow (Wednesday) for a 7:35pm faceoff before returning home to host the Cyclones Friday at 8pm.  Saturday the Komets will skate at Kalamazoo at 7:30pm.  Sunday the Komets return for their fourth game in five nights and a 5pm faceoff at the Memorial Coliseum against the Wheeling Nailers.
