Police nab three for armed robbery in Berne

BERNE, Ind. (WANE)  Police in Adams County believe they’ve captured the three men who held up a convenience store in Berne this past Saturday evening.

According to authorities, two men walked into Johnson’s Junction at about 10 pm and demanded cash.  One of the men had a gun.  A store employee handed over some money and the robbers left the store without anyone getting hurt.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Adams County Prosecutor’s Office issued a press release indicating three people had been arrested for the crime.

The men have been identified as Daryl D. Cornett, 24, of Decatur, Dakota A. Weiland, 20, of Decatur and Ryan A. Little, 23, of rural Decatur.

No other details were released.
