FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The Komets have added two valuable pieces over the last seven days, as centers Jason Dale and Dean Ouellet are now in the Summit City.
The Komets acquired Dale last week, sending cashing to the Ontario Reign in exchange for Dale. A former captain for Bloomington in the CHL, Komets fans have also seen Dale in an opposing sweater when he suited up for the Evansville Icemen.
According to Komets head coach Gary Graham, Ouellet was the most sought-after player league-wide when the San Francisco Bulls ceased operation last week. Ouellet was leading the team with 30 points (10 goals, 20 assists).
The Komets play three games this week – at home versus Kalamazoo on Friday, at Cincinnati Saturday, and back home against the K-Wings on Sunday.
