INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indianapolis Metropolitan Police officers confirm they arrested a FedEx worker for stealing more than $100,000 worth of Apple products.

Police say they were called to the warehouse in the 4700 block of Decatur Boulevard Thursday afternoon in reference to a theft.

A security investigator at the warehouse had been investigating another employee for theft. The investigator interviewed James Lewis who confessed to stealing one or two Apple items a week. Lewis said he did so to support his family.

Lewis said the stolen items included about 50 iPads, 50 iPhones, 20 Macbook pros, and five iPod touches.

Officers later arrested Lewis and confiscated the stolen items.
