Six arrested after police find 24 meth labs in home

HUNTINGTON, Ind. (WANE) – Police arrested six people Sunday night after finding 24 meth labs inside of a Huntington home.

According to police, officers obtained a search warrant for a home located at 226 Oak Street in Huntington after receiving information that people may be making meth in the home.

During a search of the home, police found 24 one pot meth labs. The Huntington City Meth Suppression Team and the ISP Meth Suppression Team were called in to clean up the scene.

The following six people were arrested:

  • Casey L. Newsome, 30, of Huntington – $100,000 bond
  • Brandi E. Leon, 22, of Huntington – $70,000 bond
  • William W. Story, 18, of Huntington – $70,000 bond
  • Paula A. Easterday, 42, of Huntington – $70,000 bond
  • Bryant W. Steward, 23, of Huntington – $70,000 bond
  • Cory M. Sell, 30, of Huntington – $70,000 bond

Each person faces one count of Manufacturing of Methamphetamine, a class A felony.
