Reports: Wedge heading to ESPN

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – According to multiple reports Fort Wayne native and Northrop graduate Eric Wedge is set to join ESPN as a studio analyst for the upcoming baseball season.

Wedge managed the Seattle Mariners the past three seasons, but opted not to return to the franchise.

Wedge was 213-273 during his tenure in Seattle.

He previously managed in Cleveland and was named the American League Manager of the Year in 2007.

Wedge is scheduled to host his annual winter baseball camp in Fort Wayne next month.
