MARION, Ind. (WANE) – Fort Wayne native and Marion high school senior James Blackmon, Jr. is adding to his already impressive list of accomplishments. The Indiana University signee was one of ten high schools seniors selected to the U.S. Junior National Select Team. The U.S. squad will face international competition at the Nike Hoops Summit in Portland starting on April 12. It is the second year in a row the Hoosiers will have representation at the Nike Hoops Summit. Last year Noah Vonleh played for the U.S. team. Blackmon is currently the third-leading scorer in the state, averaging 35.7 points a game.
