DNR: Woman stole thousands of items from employer

MARSHALL, Ind. (WANE) – DNR officers arrested a woman who allegedly stole thousands of items from her employer over a span of several years.

According to the DNR, Lesa Bilskie, 50, of Marshall, had been stealing items, such as camping equipment, from the Turkey Run Inn and Camp Store for years.

During the investigation, a search warrant was issued for Bilskie’s house. DNR officers said they found more than $5,000 worth of stolen items from the store in her home.

According to the DNR, Bilskie was arrested on Friday on a Theft charge, which is a class D felony.

The Turkey Run Inn is in Marshall, Indiana, about 35 miles north of Terre Haute.
