FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The man who was critically injured in a shooting on Saturday night has died, according to the Allen County Coroner.
Jordan Lee Calland, 22, of Fort Wayne, died from gunshot wounds. His manner of death was declared a homicide by the coroner.
Officers were called to 2744 Paulding Road at around 7:07 p.m. Saturday, September 21. When they arrived, they found Calland suffering from gunshot wounds.
The investigation found that several neighbors called 911 after they heard gun shots and found Calland. There were several shell casings around the area, but no weapon was recovered.
Witnesses told police they saw three men wearing all black run from the area and leave in a white four-door car. Police said that it’s too early to tell what the motive was or if the shooting is gang-related.
Anyone with any information about this shooting is asked to call police.
As of Wednesday morning, FWPD spokesperson Michael Joyner said no arrests have been made.
Calland’s death marks the 32nd homicide in Fort Wayne and Allen County in 2013.
