Police seek help finding hit and run suspect

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE)  The Fort Wayne Police Department is asking the public for help in finding a suspect in a hit and run death.

Anyone with any information on Jacinto A. Barrios is asked to call police at (260) 427-1222 or Crime Stoppers at 436-STOP.

Barrios is wanted for questioning in connection to the homicide of Marco Antonio Vinas-Herran.

Vinas-Herran, 31, of Fort Wayne, was found in the Las Lomas parking lot, located at 2202 Fairfield Avenue, around 6:30 a.m. on Monday. A passerby who was walking through the parking lot to get coffee from a nearby gas station found Vinas-Herran and called 911.

Vinas-Herran was taken to the hospital in critical condition but died later that day due to blunt force trauma. The Allen County Coroner declared his death a homicide.
